Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing a new premium hospitality platform that offers the most comprehensive set of services to help service providers for travel and other industries, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for encouraging the use of best practices in design and coding for solutions that are scalable and maintainable. The company is dedicated to bringing the best private chefs and private dining experiences to the customer's doorsteps. Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Google Cloud services for access management and security to protect the organization's platform and user data
  • Help to find and fix problems by using problem-solving and reverse engineering skills
  • Assist the engineering team with mentoring and leadership, and promote a culture of ongoing learning and development
  • Use PostgreSQL, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL to manage the development, management, and optimization of the organization's back-end API stack on Google Cloud
  • Oversee the development of user interfaces utilizing Vercel and Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • To ensure high-quality code and optimal performance, create and maintain test automation processes
  • Design and refactor SQL and data structures together with the team for maximum effectiveness
  • In order to encourage reusability and maintainability, supervise the creation and improvement of React/Web Components and CSS designs
  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of big data analytics, ML/prediction engines, and data-gathering systems
  • For smooth and secure interfaces, use OAuth and create and publish secure public APIs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience in back-end development with PostgreSQL, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL that can be shown
  • Proficient in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for front-end development
  • Solid grasp of SQL and data design, as well as refactoring and optimization experience
  • Great comprehension of React/Web Component/CSS design, restructuring, and composition
  • In-depth knowledge of creating and publishing secure public APIs and OAuth
  • Exceptional reverse engineering and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid understanding of Google Cloud services, particularly those related to security and access control
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities with the capacity to motivate and lead a group
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, clean, and effective code
  • Nice to have some knowledge of big data analytics, ML/prediction engines, and data collection 
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
