Job description

A NASDAQ-listed e-commerce company that is providing a world-class online shopping platform to customers across the world, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be joining the AWS OpenSearch team and will in charge of continuously improving the software engineering practices and mentoring junior engineers. The company is determined to build a customer-centric cutting-edge website for buyers, sellers, and content producers has established itself as the market leader. The company has managed to secure $8bn+ in funding so far. This position requires 4-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone and will be a full-time role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment
  • Build high-quality, ship-ready solutions, and products that delight the users
  • Participate in the design and creation of scalable software
  • Collaborate with the product, data science, and sales team to drive important business results

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific experience working with Java, Python, and Kotlin
  • Prolific experience working with Cloud ecosystem
  • Nice to have some experience with Apache Solr and Apache Lucene
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills
