Job description

A U.S.-based company is looking for a skilled and versatile Full-Stack Developer with a background in data engineering. The selected candidate will assist in building the v1 version of a concept that the company is currently validating with a select group of clients. As part of our team, the developer will contribute to the development of an analytics product tailored for marketing teams in the consumer brand industry. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the UTC-5.00 time zone. 


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of our analytics product
  • Integrate various data sources, including web analytics data, marketing data, sales data, costing data, etc., into a unified data stack
  • Develop a reporting system that provides actionable insights and visualizations to marketing teams through a user-friendly dashboard, similar to Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Utilize your data engineering expertise to ensure efficient data processing, data quality, and data storage in our data warehouse
  • Assist in building an application that allows modification of client-side data sent back to ad platforms (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Ads Pixel) based on the insights derived from our analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies
  • Experience or familiarity with data engineering concepts, tools, and techniques
  • Proficiency in integrating and manipulating data from diverse sources
  • Solid understanding of analytics and reporting principles
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and similar reporting platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Previous experience in developing analytics or marketing-related products
  • Knowledge of ad platforms and their pixel implementations (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Ads Pixel)
  • Familiarity with data warehousing technologies and best practices
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
