Job description

A rapidly-growing company specializing in providing users with convenient auto refinancing services that allow them to get competitive rates in minutes, is looking for a Full-Stack API Engineer. The engineer will work closely with the engineering, product, and project management teams to build reliable products. The Forbes-accredited firm assists drivers in increasing their savings while refinancing and enhancing their auto insurance. This is a nice opportunity for the selected candidates to test their mettle while gaining hands-on industry experience.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on performance and scalability during software design and code construction
  • Take ownership of end-to-end product quality, from developing and maintaining core platform frameworks
  • Write clean, understandable, robust, and maintainable code
  • Influence how individual features and products are built
  • Mentor and guide other developers on best practices to be followed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Demonstrable skills with Typescript, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to read/code in Ruby
  • Prior experience working with API and related technologies
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
