Job description

A U.S.-based company on a mission to simplify the entire healthcare revenue cycle by utilizing advanced technology is looking for a Django Developer. The developer will be working in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to solve customers' problems in quick iterations. The company is building software to make pricing clearer, simpler, and lower costs for a fair market rate. During their Series A round, the company secured $24 mn+ in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop Django-based websites using Python and PostgreSQL
  • Work with large data sets, including scripting imports, exports, data cleaning, analysis, etc.
  • Write effective and scalable code
  • Test and debug programs
  • Improve functionality of existing systems
  • Implement security and data protection solutions
  • Assess and prioritize feature requests
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to comprehend user requirements and provide technical solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience with Django
  • Nice to have experience in Python (Django) and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails is preferred 
  • Prior experience with JavaScript and HTML5 is a plus 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
