Job description

A US-based beauty-tech company that delivers fitted and ready-to-wear manicures made with 3D scanning technology is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing a fully customized e-commerce website, cloud photogrammetry 3D scanning solution, mobile app, recommendation algorithms, and machine learning algorithms. The company is disrupting the nail industry with cruelty-free, made-to-order stick-on gel products and has raised funding of over $8 mn so far. This is a good opportunity for candidates to work with a rapidly growing startup. It requires some time overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior engineering manager to define the application’s architecture, execute, and deploy software solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to build customized e-commerce website, mobile application, cloud photogrammetry 3D scanning solution, machine learning, and recommendation algorithms
  • Drive the creative process of architecting solutions
  • Take ownership of defining implementation plans, executing them, and deploying solutions in a secure and scalable manner

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Proficient with React.js, Next.js, and Node.js technologies
  • Strong understanding of GraphQL, PL/pgSQL, and Jenkins
  • Experience working with headless e-commerce integrations (Shopify, Builder, etc.)
  • Experience working with Docker, Containers, Instrumentation, and AWS DevOps would be a plus
  • Previous experience with Machine Learning algorithms is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication, organizational, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
