Job description

An industry-leading company active in the affiliate marketing space and implementing solutions that support loyalty programs worldwide is looking for a Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer. The developer will utilize a great deal of independence and self-organization to build production-ready web applications in Ruby on Rails. The company partners with leading companies in the energy, banking, and telecom space to provide custom solutions and aid customers to drive engagement, loyalty, and retention to their brand. Candidates who want to expand their skill set and advance their careers rapidly are well-suited for this role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in requirements analysis and client proposals
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to produce software design and architecture 
  • Write clean, scalable code using Ruby on Rails
  • Solve diverse, complex problems on high-scale, cutting edge systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience building modern production Ruby on Rails applications 
  • 3+ years of Test Driven Development using MiniTest or Rspec
  • 3+ years building production full-stack web applications (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • 3+ years of experience in relational database design (preferably PostgreSQL > 9.0)
  • Solid source control management using Git
  • Demonstrable skills with cloud hosting environments (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS)
  • Experience deploying scalable applications using Puma, Sidekiq, Memcached
  • Proficiency with ReactJS, AngularJS, Vue, or other JavaScript frameworks is nice to have 
  • Expertise in financial, accounting, or other business intelligence applications is desirable
  • Previous experience with Google Play Store / iTunes Connect release processes is preferred
  • Strong commitment to user experience and customer satisfaction
