Job description

A U.S.-based company that provides interactive design, web development, data integration, and web marketing services to its clients is looking for a WordPress Developer. The developer will be responsible for the back-end development and will indulge in creating and customizing the WordPress plugins. The company's objective is to address difficult technological, marketing, and creative problems while providing outstanding customer service. Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and integrate fresh features and capabilities
  • Create and put into practice the website's architecture
  • Ensure a high performance, high page speed insights, Google web vitals scores, and practical coding
  • Help with responsive design implementation and theme and plugin troubleshooting

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in WordPress development
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket
  • Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience in building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • Knowledge of developing responsively-designed websites
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc. 
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Proficiency in English
