Job description

A fast-growing company that is serving both individuals and businesses by matching consumers with a wide network of service providers for junk removal is looking for a WordPress Developer. The developer will be tasked with identifying technical debt and making futuristic recommendations for reduction. The company operates as the industry leader in item haul-away, junk removal, reverse logistics returns, white-glove item assembly, and other services. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who are eager to showcase their skills while rubbing shoulders with professionals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, design, and SEO optimize WordPress websites with a scalable user experience, increased conversion rates, and speed
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the website and blogs
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for the products 
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels, including landing pages

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Extensive experience in WordPress development
  • Proficient in WordPress, SEO content writing & design
  • Demonstrable experience in Analytics/Ads integration, formatting & implementation
  • Prior experience with 3rd party Integrations & setup (MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Prolific experience with CSS/HTML/PHP/JavaScript
  • Adobe suite and graphic design experience
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
