Job description

The developer will be in charge of using rapid prototyping to investigate exciting possibilities based on recent technological advancements. Job Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate customer needs, work with stakeholders, and deliver insights obtained via Tableau visualizations effectively
  • Explain difficult ideas in a straightforward, concise manner
  • Display a desire to learn new things all the time and keep up with Tableau's newest features, upgrades, and best practices
  • Actively explore new Tableau features and tools, such as the Tableau Community and online discussion boards, to show that you have a growth mentality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Tableau developer
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Tableau's capabilities, features, and functionalities
  • Extensive working knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and related tools
  • Nice to have some experience with Tableau Prep, which aids with data preparation
  • Thorough understanding of ideas including visual hierarchy, color theory, chart selection, and good data storytelling
  • Solid understanding of Data Visualization principles for designing effective and meaningful Tableau reports and dashboards
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis and prior experience finding patterns, trends, and insights into data
  • Ability to perform calculations, statistical techniques, and generate calculated fields in Tableau
  • Handy to have some knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages for data processing and extraction
  • Prior experience with designing intuitive and user-friendly dashboards 
  • Ability to arrange data elements, construct efficient layouts, employ action filters, create interactive filters, and make sure users can navigate and understand the information presented
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to recognize and effectively handle data-related difficulties
  • Ability to evaluate requirements, visualize business questions, and suggest workable solutions to achieve project goals
  • Showcase a thorough understanding of data preparation procedures, such as data cleaning, converting data structures, merging and mixing data from many sources, and handling missing or inconsistent data, to ensure the quality and dependability of the visualizations
  • Excellent English communication skills, including written and verbal communication
