Job description

A US-based company developing an open marketplace for innovations, information, and commerce, as well as a self-contained media buying platform, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing troubleshooting and improvement tasks for current applications and processes. The NASDAQ-listed company is on a mission to help businesses meet more powerful, data-driven advertising from day one. The company has successfully secured more than $250mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term position requiring some overlap with the PST/EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Critically analyze end-to-end designs for strengths and weaknesses
  • Work closely with technical leads or managers and contribute ideas for future projects
  • Identify tech debt and make recommendations to tackle them
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve and enhance the software experience

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
  • Experience working as a software engineer with a focus on infra tooling
  • Prior software engineer background with a blend of Ops
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Excellent English communication skills
