Job description

A US-based company that connects businesses with skilled workers to increase fulfillment, reduce turnover, and improve quality, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for helping the existing team establish their cloud DevOps. The company's intuitive end-to-end technology platform utilizes advanced technologies to empower businesses. They have managed to raise more than $100 mn in funding during their Series B round. This role requires some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review, evaluate and amend the current setup
  • Build effective and elegant dashboards
  • Define DevOps, infrastructure, and the security roadmap for the coming financial year
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and meet targets

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB
  • Nice to have some familiarity with Node.js, Redis, GCP, and Web Sockets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals
