Job description

A rapidly-growing company that has created a performance platform that augments and automates human work by utilizing machine learning across both voice and digital engagement channels is looking for a Senior Staff Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for increasing logging, monitoring, and data collecting for the entire firm. The company's objective is to create transformative machine learning-powered solutions that push the limits of artificial intelligence and customer experience. The company has managed to raise more than $350 mn in funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the mission-critical production data pipeline and warehouse by designing and deploying solutions
  • Recognize data flow patterns and generalizations to automate as much as feasible to increase productivity
  • Increase the company's logging, monitoring, and data collection
  • Create systems for detecting and resolving anomalies and issues before they become problems
  • Create cutting-edge automation and data solutions in Python, Kubernetes, Flink, Kafka, and Spark
  • Understand how to make the necessary tradeoffs to ship without sacrificing quality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Kotlin and Scala
  • Expertise in Python and Go
  • Familiarity with Java and AWS
  • Experience in Kafka and Cassandra
  • Proficiency in English
