Job description

A US-based company that connects students to top counselors, universities, and test prep experts from all across the country, is looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and running the software services. The company's innovative solutions and advanced technologies helps universities to go online fast, affordably, and elegantly. The company has managed to raise funding close to $100 mn during their Series C round. This will be an excellent opportunity for developers to exhibit their skills and lead a team of talented engineers.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the product owner, design and develop salesforce-based products
  • Be familiar with the organizational roadmaps and provide senior-level guidance to an Agile team
  • Proactively predict and minimize potential issues before they arise and resolve them
  • Devise unit test plans, create unit test cases, establish unit testing protocols and appropriate testing environments
  • Carry out software testing, release cycle, and continuous deployment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4-5 years of experience as a Salesforce developer
  • Demonstrable skills in product development life cycle and software testing
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including APEX, Visualforce, Lightning, Integrations, etc.
  • Prior experience managing custom packages across multiple Salesforce organizations
  • Knowledge of custom apex API endpoint development
  • Experience with batch data processing, handling millions of records
  • Experience developing and integrating with web services (RESTful and otherwise)
  • Ability to collaborate with different team members, foster a positive team environment, and mentor junior members 
  • Strong communications skills and keenness to learn on the job
