Job description

A plug-and-play payment platform that allows businesses to future-proof all aspects of payments with a single integration is looking for a Senior PHP Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with tirelessly securing additional funding, scope hammer non-essential components, and complete each project. The US-based company enables business owners to experience the bliss of getting paid reliably and stress-free while managing and optimizing all things payments in the same interface.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand the value of a successful cycle completion
  • Project assignments of working on-cycle
  • Create a secure and highly customizable customer payments portal, support usability in the database, and expand the company’s library of integrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, client issues, and write projects
  • Ensure adherence to programming and documentation policies and code standards
  • Optimize bottlenecks on high loads
  • Adopt the best up to date technologies
  • Participate in regular testing, release, and review sessions
  • Report regular updates on projects
  • Generate projects for each cycle
  • Receive and provide feedback for ideas
  • Carefully vet, hire, and guide new teammates for the Product circle

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Prolific experience working with MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and DynamoDB
  • Demonstrable experience working with PHP, Symfony, Vue JS 2/3, and ReactJS
  • Experience with Webpack, RollupJS: ES6/7, PHPUnit, Chai, Jest, and Cypress
  • Knowledge of Docker, Terraform, GitHub, and AWS
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
