Senior Infrastructure Engineer

A U.S.-based company that is enabling customers to invest and trade across the crypto space with ease on their innovative platform, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. The selected candidate will be collaborating with the stakeholders and product engineers to monitor, scale, and secure the products and the platform. The company's regulatory-compliant infrastructure layer and terminal enable users and organizations to access DeFi. This position requires at least 6 hours of overlap with the ET time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build web infrastructure that provides critical support for fast-moving business features
• Use a data-driven approach to make scalable infrastructure
• Develop distributed, real-time systems for high scalability and reliability
• Work with the product team to ensure that all internal services are properly monitored, including logging, dashboards, and alerts

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
• Demonstrated technical initiative and leadership ability 
• Passion for building, operating, and debugging distributed systems at scale
• High autonomy and a strong sense of accountability
• Extensive experience in Go and Node.js
• Prolific experience in Kubernetes, GCP, and Terraform
• Experience building and/or operating observability systems at scale
• Proficient with container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior experience with infrastructure as code tools, like Terraform
• Proven track record of successfully building and/or operating production systems in Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS
• Fluent in verbal and written English
