Job description

A U.S.-based D2C e-commerce company that is offering better and more intricate arrangements of flowers to customers across the country is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be providing mentorship to other members of the team while ensuring fast productivity, reliability, and scalability of the application. The company offers flower bouquets, shippable vases, single variety arrangements, plants, and more. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who enjoy working with a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the upcoming product roadmap
  • Ensure products meet business requirements and maintain best practices
  • Maintain a high level of tech infrastructure while designing and developing automated code delivery pipelines
  • Take charge of tasks like architectural code review, validation, and code deployment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Prolific experience working with AWS DevOps and Ruby on Rails
  • Prior experience working with Heroku is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills
