Senior DevOps Engineer

A fast-growing company building a financial platform that rewards users each time they pay their rent is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will understand the product and business requirements to help improve the deployment systems. The US-based company is building a portfolio of rental homes across the country where users can accumulate points while paying the bills. They have managed to raise $60mn+ during their Seed round of funding. This will be a full-time, long-term position that requires some overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement infrastructure best practices like security, release management, and monitoring features
• Assist in building and releasing new features by engineering teams
• Contribute to building secure and highly available platforms
• Develop tools and processes to increase the productivity of the engineering team
• Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve performance
• Drive technical innovation and efficiencies in operational infrastructure
• Manage and own production and non-production environments for seamless software delivery

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of experience in working as a DevOps developer
• Deep understanding of essential DevOps technologies
• Expertise in building solutions using cloud services like GCP or others
• Should possess professional experience in developing modern solutions based on Java 
• Experience working with Terraform is essential
• Understanding of networking and metrics collection is preferred
