Job description

An emerging liquidity and staking decentralized autonomous organization is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The developer will be building the environments that will be used to host the validator infrastructure and software. The company aims to become an early mover in bootstrapping liquidity and trading. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires some overlap with the AEST time zone. It is a great opportunity for developers who enjoy working with some bleeding-edge technology to shape the future of blockchain technology.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Look in various DevOps aspects running validators
  • Assist in designing and documenting systems and architecture
  • Looking into planning and costing while also mentoring contributors
  • Understand requirements and help translate them into designs and plans that could be implemented
  • Develop and integrate new development tools and infrastructure
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Perform code reviews and analyze results
  • Implement best security features to stay protected against cybersecurity threats
  • Test, debug, and implement changes to remove errors
  • Participate in crucial project and product management decisions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a DevOps specialist
  • Well-versed with DevOps concepts, Continuous Delivery, and TDD
  • Ability to design, test, and deliver secure cloud runtime environments
  • A strong base in Linux administration and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of CI tools including the likes of Jenkins, Travis, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Ability to work with Python alongside CI/CD, DevOps, AWS, and Terraform
  • Knowledge of working with Go/Golang, Blockchain, and Rust would be an added bonus
  • Ability to work with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.
  • Proven experience in developing large-scale, highly distributed systems and system automation
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with different team members and stakeholders
  • Well versed with microservice architecture paradigms
