Job description

A well-known, U.S.-based, management consulting platform that revolutionized the automotive industry as the authority in the Business Development Concept, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building functional systems to improve customer experience and managing the day-to-day engineering efforts including product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations. The company is currently focused on driving the service revenue and gross profit of automotive dealers by transforming their culture through technology. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and set up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Automate and improve the development and release processes for applications
  • Test and examine code written by others and analyze results
  • Asess the system’s vulnerability and ensure safety against cybersecurity threats
  • Identify technical bottlenecks to resolve them or provide details to the development team for resolution
  • Collaborate with software developers and engineers to establish standard processes to ensure smooth operation
  • Oversee and plan out projects, as well as partake in project management decisions
  • Suggest cost reduction methods, monitor environment costs, and maintain performances
  • Develop error-fixing tools to improve customer experience
  • Perform system updates and fixes
  • Analyze the production error root cause and provide solutions
  • Automate visualization by developing scripts
  • Design system troubleshooting and maintenance procedures
  • Provide quick responses to production issues by sharing on-call responsibilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Proficient with Git, Python, and/or C#
  • Experience with MS Windows Server, Linux/Unix, New Relic, OpsGenie, AWS Cloud Technologies, and MySQL
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL
  • Ability to solve problems and work within a team setting 
  • Great command over English communication - written and verbal
