Job description

A fast-growing company that is helping businesses and clients to efficiently build tailor-made software and ship new web apps, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for setting up processes and systems that make developers more productive. The VC-backed company’s most recent code generation system allows customers to share the code for reusable components of modern apps and to launch new web apps. This is a great opportunity for developers who are eager to build a lucrative career and quickly climb up the ranks. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and remove bugs from developed applications to improve performance
  • Deploy a fleet of applications easily
  • Take charge of automating the infrastructure 
  • Work side by side with the founding team to set up processes and systems that make developers more productive
  • Build infrastructure that is utilized by many developers and businesses

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience with production applications
  • Demonstrable experience working with IaC (Terraform), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD (Github
  • Prolific experience with observability systems and common cloud providers like AWS and Heroku
  • Demonstrable experience working with automated testing, security best practices, and SRE
  • Extensive experience with modern web application stacks like TypeScript, Next, Node, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Ability to move fast by automating infrastructure 
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
