Job description

A fast-emerging Fintech company building a global currency that will be distributed fairly to as many people as possible is looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer. As an engineer, you will support the blockchain team working on the protocol. The company focuses on increasing individual empowerment and equality of opportunity on a global scale. The selected candidate will work on the edge of current research in the areas of blockchain scalability and applied cryptography while collaborating with some of the smartest and most passionate innovators.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on the smart contract implementations
  • Deploy and support a blockchain system in production for a large user base
  • Sustain the development of client SDKs for users and developers
  • Work together with other teams building on the features for the infrastructure
  • Develop and contribute to open-source

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a blockchain engineer
  •  Proficiency with Rust and C
  • Experience with Golang, Solidity, and optionally Typescript
  • Essential understanding of blockchain fundamentals, scalability, and the EVM
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
  • Experience in applied cryptography (ZKPs), but not required
