Job description

A well-established company that is manufacturing and distributing world-class cigars is looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer. The developer will be responsible for continuously evolving the functionality provided through API integrations of Salesforce and other cloud-based tools. The company is on a mission to provide customers with premium cigar/tobacco products and experiences. Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) technology expertise while designing solutions and implementing technologies
  • Convert business and marketing problems into well-thought-out solutions
  • Improve the platform iteratively through design, coding, unit testing, and code review
  • Drive site release strategy technical process improvements
  • Make sure that sound architecture is followed
  • Maintain processes/procedures, document them, and offer seamless handoff to business users
  • Enhance and uphold engineering standards while reducing technical complexity
  • Stay updated about the advances in digital commerce technology
  • Enjoy imparting knowledge on the best ways to use Salesforce Commerce Cloud to the.NET development team and business team
  • Keep up with the most recent Salesforce technology developments, updates, community news, and roadmaps
  • Recognize the nuances of sophisticated technological contexts and optimize solutions for effectiveness and simplicity
  • Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications
  • Develop expandable, intuitive, and customized solutions within the Salesforce platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Expert-level skills with Salesforce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • 3-5+ years of experience implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (Demandware) solutions
  • 3-5+ years of working experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and AJAX
  • Demonstrable experience with jQuery, web analytics, XML, web services (SOAP/REST), and open-source packages/libraries
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
  • Prolific experience implementation of digital commerce components like users, catalog, pricing, inventory, and payment
  • Experience with digital commerce integration like SFMC and ERP
  • Demonstrable experience working with server-side and client-side JavaScript
  • Experience with Git source control and collaboration tool like JIRA, Confluence, and Slack
  • Prior experience working with agile development methodology
  • Experience with web frameworks, interactive web development, and responsive web design
  • Deep understanding of various cloud systems and cloud-based tools
  • Experience with site speed optimization
  • Knowledge and practical experience with secure development techniques
  • Effective collaboration skills with non-technical staff
  • Proficient in spoken and written English communication
