Job description

A stealth startup on a mission to provide secure access for distributed enterprises is looking for a Principal Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for analyzing requirements and business objectives, architecting, designing, and implementing application features. The company is funded by seasoned VCs and on a mission to solve a fundamental cybersecurity challenge with global implications. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Analyzing project requirements and business objectives
Design, develop and implement application features
Take charge of troubleshooting bugs and develop testing strategies
Run tests to check functionalities and develop automation test scripts
Draft detailed technical documentation and user assistance material

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
Expertise in designing, developing & debugging high-performance and scalable C++ applications
Thorough knowledge of working on Linux along with scripting is essential
A deep understanding of Java and Java-based web frameworks is required
Must be able to develop and deploy features and components in the public cloud using Docker or Kubernetes
Knowledge of the inner workings of chromium-browser will be helpful
Must be able to work with an analytical mind with excellent debugging skills
Should be a team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
