Job description

A fast-growing tech company based in the US that is providing large enterprises with a SaaS platform to help accelerate product adoption, is looking for a Principal Engineer. The developer will be required to continuously innovate and apply next-gen technology to help keep up with customer demands and expand the business. The company is tapping into the power of modern technology to enhance the capabilities of each individual in organizations through interactive training on the integrated application. The company has managed to raise $135mn+ during their Series D round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design for performance, scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability
  • Work with teams in a collaborative and productive manner
  • Analyze the business and product requirements with effort estimation and deployment strategies
  • Build high-quality and highly resilient scalable products and platform
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural/technical consistency and excellence of the products and platforms

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
  • Demonstrable experience with Java and ReactJS
  • Experience with REST, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Prior experience working with Client-side technologies such as GWT and jQuery is nice to have
  • Experience with Storage systems like NoSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB is desirable
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English communication
