Job description

A fast-scaling stealth software startup is looking for a Mobile/Front-end Engineer to join their team. The engineer will be responsible for conducting code reviews, optimization, expansion, and development tests for the product. The company is developing a cutting-edge mobile application that would enable its users to share real-time alerts about various location-based events. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are passionate about emerging tech and want to create highly innovative mobile applications.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand market demands to fine-tune applications and user-facing features
  • Write clean, dynamic, reusable, and scalable code
  • Establish code review activities, give and receive regular feedback
  • Keep in touch with new technologies and innovations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Mobile/Front-End Engineer
  • 4+ years of React Native/React experience
  • Proficient with building user-facing applications from scratch
  • Experience with Google or other cloud environs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building complex, scalable, light, and accessible user interfaces
  • Passionate about creating meaningful end-user experiences 
  • Thorough understanding of industry UI/UX best practices
  • Great verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to develop a solid design and advocate for your vision
  • Experience with Google Maps, Google Cloud/Firebase would be a bonus
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
