Job description

A rapidly-growing company offering exclusive cloud-based technology solutions for restaurants is looking for a Mobile Developer. The developer will work actively with the team to build and design advanced applications for the Android and iOS platforms using Flutter. The company has raised over $4 mn in funding so far and focuses on empowering entrepreneurs, artists, and creators while evolving continually to provide the best services and integrations for the community. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the IST and PHT time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and/or internal teams to understand user needs, draft initial proposals and software design to meet these needs
Analyze the feasibility of design and project parameters in a timely and cost-effective manner
Take note of user needs and client specifications while designing software
Develop clean, readable code and design software applications based on user specifications
Oversee and assist with software testing, installation and validation procedures, and programming
Ensure application operates within established specifications
Gather and evaluate user feedback to improve software for better usability
Design databases for specific application areas
Be responsible for the system performance standards and hardware configurations with a focus on requirements and other client specifications
Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems to support required applications
Effectively advise clients on software maintenance and modify existing software to eliminate errors and improve performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Utilize design patterns and advanced Git to produce highly maintainable code
Coach or mentor junior members of the development team
Document code specifications to be implemented and maintained

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a mobile developer
Must be experienced in Flutter (Dart), Java, Xcode, and Android Studio
Nice to have some experience in GraphQL and GitHub (Version Control Systems)
Proficiency with 3rd Party Integrations, Data Structures, and Application Architectures is preferred
Excellent communication and management skills
Fluency in written and verbal English
