Job description

A US-based company that has built an application to help users browse through trending social media memes and other content is looking for a Mobile Developer. The developer will be working in an ambiguous setting and will be tasked with improving the application's overall performance, stability, and quality. The startup aims to be the next big social media platform and offers a great learning opportunity for developers. This will be a full-time role requiring an overlap of 4+ hours with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively in a dynamic and distributed team environment
  • Design, build and maintain advanced mobile applications
  • Diagnose and fix application bottlenecks to improve performance 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the team
  • Implement and deploy new technologies and frameworks to the application

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in mobile development
  • Prolific skills working with Swift and iOS Native 
  • Nice to have prior design experience
  • Experience with photo editing and drawing tools is desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
