Mobile Android Engineer

An emerging technology company building seamless products with a focus on simplicity and speed is looking for a Mobile Android Engineer to join a small, fast-moving team and have a high degree of autonomy and independence. Together with the core engineering team, the company is building new ways of interacting with businesses through connected devices and other wireless technologies. The selected candidate will work with the team to develop new ways of interacting with devices, bringing minimum viable products to the market, and engaging in rapid prototyping. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Tackle issues across the stack, including engineering and customer problems
• Implement new and beautiful Android Apps as well as simple to use SDKs
• Launch quickly and iterate as the products grow
• Build and showcase products to customers and get feedback

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant mobile engineering experience 
• Ability to think critically and creatively to identify solutions  
• Extensive experience building modern Android software 
• Experience writing and shipping quality tested code
• Demonstrated ability to contribute as an individual within a fast-paced team environment
• Strong product ownership from design to debugging
• Solid background in architecture and proficiency in Android/Kotlin
