Job description

A U.S.-based company that has successfully managed to establish a revolutionary social platform with an astronomical userbase, is looking for a Marketing Analyst. The selected candidate should demonstrate a thorough awareness of the platforms that advertisers utilize to reach their target demographic. The platform is enabling users across the globe to interact with each other and join communities of like-minded people. The company has managed to raise more than $1.2bn during their Series F round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create dashboards and other data visualizations to highlight important advertiser categories and customer expectations
  • Help the team in maintaining its commitment to making decisions based on the needs of the client
  • Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to audiences who are both technical and non-technical
  • Contribute to the internal development of the Ads organization's customer-centric decision-making process
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data in-depth to find strategic opportunities and useful information on the organization’s advertising products and offerings

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Marketing Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience in a quantitative or analytical function 
  • Demonstrable ability to work with both sizable unstructured and structured datasets
  • Strong statistical analysis skills using SPSS or R, and the confidence to carry out driver analysis, clustering, conjoint analysis, and other analysis
  • Extensive experience turning data analysis into visualizations
  • Must be entrepreneurial and self-directed with a strong customer and business focus
  • Ability to thrive when navigating ambiguity and tackling ambiguous and undefined problems
  • 5+ years of experience working in digital advertising or on advertising platforms is nice to have
  • Ideal to have 5+ years of product marketing experience or work in an analytical product-related capacity
  • Ability to understand a variety of research techniques, such as surveys, interviews, etc. is desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
