Job description

A fast-growing company building a world-class team and operating a telehealth clinic for men with obesity, is looking for a Founding Engineer. As one of the first engineering hires, you will take charge of the work from the technical co-founder and execute in both growth and product teams. The company is backed by Y Combinator and assists patients to undertake personalized health coaching and gain access to prescribed FDA-approved medications through the app. This is an excellent opportunity for the selected candidate to play a critical role in building the technical foundations of the company for years to come.

Job Responsibilities:

Ship high-quality apps in either React Native or React
Control the design and development of new features, enhancements, and fixes to the code and application
Research and evaluate alternative approaches to assist in developing solutions
Analyze and identify areas of improvement with existing processes, procedures, and documentation.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Extensive experience in react native and React
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Fluent English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
