Job description

A U.S.-based company that specializes in producing power controllers for air conditioners and refrigerators that use less energy, is looking for a Firmware Engineer. The engineer will take charge of building and delivering WiFi services like AP, Client, and BLE to the embedded ESP32 chipset. The company has established itself in the refrigeration industry with innovations that enhance dependability and performance while offering various affordable, energy-efficient refrigeration solutions. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the CST time zone and will be a full-time role. The company has managed to secure more than $17mn in funding so far.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement efficient firmware
  • Maintain stable firmware while performing code reviews
  • Write and maintain detailed and extensive firmware documentation
  • Recognize the functional and system requirements, then deconstruct them into software requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an Embedded Firmware Developer
  • Extensive experience working with ESP32, C++, ESP32 Soc Wifi, and Espressif Platform
  • Some knowledge of Python, C, HTML, JavaScript, and Micropython is desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
