Job description

A New York Stock Exchange-listed company working at the forefront of the entire mortgage and real estate services industry is looking for an Elastic Search Administrator. The selected candidate will collaborate with system architects to engineer complex Elasticsearch deployments to strengthen the rapid search for large document datasets. The company channels its effort to making sustainable homeownership possible for more people and removing barriers to homebuying. Job Responsibilities:

  • Create custom Elasticsearch analyzers, tokenizers, and tailored field mappings
  • Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs on the platform 
  • Regularly resolve errors, improve the codebase, and take customer feedback
  • Design, build, and maintain Kibana dashboards

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience as an Elastic Cloud Administrator
  • Prolific experience in designing, building, and maintaining an ELK stack cluster v7+
  • Prior experience with Elastic security (roles, users) and advanced scripting (Painless language)
  • Experience in slow logs, query optimization/debugging, and alerting is required 
  • Nice to have experience in centralized monitoring of Elastic clusters
  • Experience in Snapshot backup and restores, ILM, Hot/Warm/Cold/Frozen architecture
  • Proven experience in analyzers, tokenizers, custom field mappings, Kibana DSL
  • Experience with Ingest pipelines
  • Nice to have experience in Logstash, Kibana Dashboards, Kibana Graph, and Grafana
