Job description

A fast-paced company with an objective of reducing friction in private lending markets and increasing liquidity is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will work with a comprehensive, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot issues and repair software defects. The company believes in an open and frictionless trading environment where all investors may trade, and funds can raise capital via the use of new tokenized securities. The company has managed to raise close to $1.5 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Automate the software builds and release configurations 
  • Design and build scalable, well-documented stacks 
  • Troubleshoot errors and fix bugs in the software using a holistic, test-oriented approach  
  • Work actively on cloud optimization to reduce spend

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of VPNs, VPCs, Cloud Networking, DNS management (any of AWS, Azure, CGP, IBM Cloud)
  • Ability to automate and manage N environments, staging, nightly, and production
  • Experience in Kubernetes implementation and deployments for product management 
  • Familiarity with ELK or another log and monitoring stack
  • Expertise in DR and Backup policy and procedures
  • Knowledge of security for cloud environment, DDOS solutions, CloudFlare, etc.
  • Knowledge of DevOps 
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be responsive and able to self-organize workload
  • IBM Cloud experience is a plus
  • Experience in trading pits/floors is nice to have
