Job description

A fast-growing company providing clients with the opportunity to research codeless architecture and contribute to the codeless revolution is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will collaborate with the technical teams to comprehend the numerous services and requirements to offer the best outcomes. The company's technology supports businesses in the development, deployment, and administration of complex applications on their no-code enterprise application platform. The company has managed to secure more than $350 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Engineering Manager of the Cloud Infrastructure team
  • Commit to the diversity, equity, and inclusion targets established by the team
  • Automate and maintain services while enhancing them on AWS, Azure, and GCP to achieve high availability, resiliency, scalability, security, and cost optimization
  • Scale systems in a sustainable manner using methods such as automation
  • Create tools for deploying and monitoring critical cloud infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform to define everything as code
  • Encourage the use of best practices in security, automation, scalability, and high availability
  • Develop processes and infrastructure for software release and deployment (CI/CD)
  • Work with the technical teams to understand the various services and requirements to obtain the best results in delivering them
  • Participate as a partner in product roadmap development, sprint planning, and stand-ups
  • Use long-term incident response and blameless postmortems
  • Create documentation for all projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant Cloud experience with any of AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
  • Experience with containers, specifically Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of networking and modern web services architectures
  • Familiarity with best practices and IT operations 
  • Background in Linux/Unix administration
  • Expertise in working with the Cloud 
  • Experience in security auditing and best practices
  • Experience building infrastructure through software (Ansible and Terraform)
  • Familiarity with Agile processes
  • Proficiency in English
