Job description

A fast-emerging company that is revolutionizing the shopping experience by helping the fashion retail industry to transition to a sustainable economy is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for improving the reuse and modularity of the current IaC codebase. The company's technology allows organizations to engage with customers, develop new business models, and collect information through regular contact with the outside world.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create new cloud infrastructure, then import it into the IaC codebase
  • Set up analytics and monitoring while expanding the platform
  • Build and keep up CI/CD pipelines
  • Modify the existing IaC codebase to make it more reusable and modular
  • Determine performance bottlenecks and offer assistance with technical issues
  • Design software that integrates with the company's own back-end systems
  • Develop software upgrades and "fixes" for technical issues while determining the fundamental cause of production faults
  • Understanding stakeholder requirements and communicating them to developers
  • Check and validate code created by others and evaluate the outcomes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 2+ years of professional experience managing infrastructure on Azure, including networking and access security
  • Application performance monitoring on Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of deploying containers and container orchestration
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like Terraform
  • Building CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure as well as application testing
  • Knowledge of IAM and JWT authorization and SSO/OAuth 
  • Proficiency in English
