Job description

A fast-emerging company that uses technology and data to manage the agricultural commerce environment is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing critical infrastructure components in response to changing requirements. The company intends to build a digital network for global Agri commerce, addressing structural issues like information asymmetry, payment barriers, distribution inefficiencies, and identifying new buyers and sellers using cutting-edge technology. The company has managed to raise more than $350 mn in funding. This position requires an overlap with the IST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Control of all server environments, from development to production
  • Set up monitoring tools to detect issues and rectify or escalate them to development
  • Establish basic infrastructure components as new requirements emerge
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current systems
  • Create and implement plans for increasing or expanding the use of these systems
  • Collaboration with developers to drive live title releases and best deployment techniques is essential
  • Configure the Configuration Management Environment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure
  • Familiarity with GCP
  • Knowledge of Terraform
  • Proficiency in English
