Job description

A U.S.-based company building a biomedical research and discovery AI accelerator using modern technology is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be managing the full lifecycle of the product, from design to documentation. The company is using AI to reinvent the world of medical research through their innovative drug discovery and drug development processes. This company has managed to raise more than $10 mn in funding so far.

Job Responsibilities:

Help with the business-led demand requiring increased development capacity within the DevOps domain
Assist with the buildout of the DevOps foundational platforms
Structure the development and release cycles to ensure smooth and successful product and update releases
Troubleshoot technical problems and develop software updates and fixes

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps pipelines
Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
Prolific experience with Azure Compute and Storage offerings
Experience with Microservices Architecture and Deployment technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Pulumi)
Extensive Azure Machine Learning experience
Knowledge of GitHub repositories, configurations, and Actions
Prior experience working with Atlassian development tools like Jira and Confluence
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
