Job description

A U.S.-based company that focuses on supporting today’s kids in becoming a generation of dynamic adults is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will collaborate with various departments to create and develop systems within the company. The company has established itself in millions of homes and schools in the U.S. while utilizing videos and games to get kids up and moving to boost their physical and mental health. The company is partnering with organizations that support the mission and has raised more than $10mn in funding so far.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and launch DevOps processes and automation tools to improve techniques 
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of developers to engineer cutting-edge solutions
  • Keep track of the systems and application health to mitigate bottlenecks
  • Develop and scale efficient processes to ensure high availability of systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in AWS DevOps
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
  • Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various systems and their implications
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
