Job description

The selected candidate will play a critical part in realizing the long-term goals and objectives of the company. The company is currently operating in stealth mode and aims to help businesses that are developing goods and services with positive effects on the environment, society, and the individual. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Comprehend the needs of stakeholders and convey this to developers
  • Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Test and inspect code written by others and analyze results
  • Ensure that systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Identify technical issues and develop software updates and ‘fixes’
  • Work with software developers to ensure the development follows established processes and works as intended
  • Plan projects and be involved in project management decisions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of shell scripts and Linux commands
  • Demonstrable background in Linux/Unix administration
  • Prior experience with CI & CD pipeline set up with configuration management using open source tools 
  • Experience in production hardened deployments
  • Experience in AWS & GCP is preferred 
  • Nice to have knowledge of infrastructure as code
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
