Job description

A US-based company helping businesses to employ state-of-the-art, integrated DevOps setup built on industry-defining cloud technologies is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the CTO and other engineers on the team to build scalable and relevant solutions. The company is building an efficient platform that operates the cloud account for businesses and gives them the best setup to provide more focus on shipping products. The company has managed to raise $1.8mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement advanced DevOps features into the platform
  • Work closely with the CTO and other engineers on the team to innovate new features
  • Ship features to provide for massive productivity for customers and inculcate scalable DevOps concepts 
  • Automate Canary environments for complete environment rollback testing
  • Build networking infrastructure design and automation, compatible across multiple availability zones, regions, and clouds
  • Develop dependency resolution and optimization
  • Create new abstractions for common cloud workloads 
  • Implement new CRDs and controllers for custom K8 resources

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Solid understanding of the Kubernetes engine
  • Demonstrable experience building developer platforms
  • Prior experience with Kubernetes concepts such as CSI, CNI, CRD, and AdmissionController
  • Experience with MLOps technologies like Cloud GPU, TPUs, Jupyter, and Tensorflow/Pytorch
  • Prolific experience managing big data environments like Spark, Hadoop, Beam, Hive, and Flink
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
