Job description

A rapidly-growing company on a mission to increase the human potential in a progressively digital and automated world, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines while planning and executing production releases. The US-based company uses patented technology to continuously evaluate cycle time in real-time to uncover inconsistency and improve assembly processes. During their Series B round, the company managed to raise more than $35mn in funding. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring some overlap with the IST/PST time zones. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as a part of the core engineering team to build and scale low latency, fault-tolerant, and robust systems
  • Help to define, develop, and lead CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop software-defined infrastructures
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders for software development/release activities
  • Define and produce automated quality and release gates

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience as DevOps/Infrastructure engineer
  • Strong grasp over design and development of databases for real-time, high availability, large scale applications
  • Must be able to build solutions for new features and scale existing infrastructure
  • Ability to develop microservices and tools, manage servers (GCP), create reports, etc
  • Must be able to ensure performance and security of developed application/systems
  • Ability to build automation tools for deploying and maintaining applications and infrastructure
  • Expertise in working on end-to-end monitoring and alerting systems for applications using Grafana, Prometheus, Redash, etc
  • Strong grasp in building CI/CD pipelines and managing internal software packages
