Job description

A cloud-native security analytics platform provider is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will develop and maintain tools to build and deploy mission-critical platforms on the cloud and on-premises environments. The company is implementing a common solution that  facilitates prioritizing, investigating and responding to threats across the entire attack surface. This role offers a great chance for engineers to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and build scalable products.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the present technology and tools and devise new tools and processes to improve them
  • Build and manage development, testing, and production environments' infrastructure
  • Create and enhance on-premises deployment, monitoring, log gathering, and troubleshooting tools
  • Work with the quality assurance, development, support, and sales teams to fix disputes in accordance with the SLA

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant DevOps engineering experience 
  • Experience managing large-scale applications' infrastructure in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
  • Experience managing infrastructure in at least one of the following cloud environments is required: AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Have a sound knowledge of Unix systems and scripting 
  • Experience with Terraform or cloud formation for developing infrastructure as code, including CI/CD technologies like Ansible, is a bonus
  • Understanding of best practices for system security measures
  • Prior experience with software engineering and/or customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams from various areas to ensure a smooth execution
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
