Job description

A US-based company building a cloud security governance platform by adopting a policy-based approach to enterprise cloud security and compliance is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be taking ownership of developing the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring infrastructure reliability, identifying and fixing performance issues. The company offers platform solutions that help businesses establish and maintain a regulatory, financial, administrative, development, and security cloud posture baseline. The company has managed to raise $6mn+ during its Seed round of funding. This role requires a significant overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure high productivity, reliability, and scalability of apps
  • Develop metrics and KPIs for quantifying product quality and technical efficiency
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and ensure source code control management
  • Contribute to code reviews and validation, code deployment, etc., in phased releases
  • Provide technical inputs for potential projects that can bring impactful results

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps developer
  • Solid understanding of how to work with Python
  • Should be familiar with CI/CD processes 
  • Experience working on or contributing to SaaS products will be beneficial
  • Thorough knowledge working with cloud services like AWS is essential
  • Familiarity with Go/Golang will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of working with Terraform and CloudFormation will be an added advantage
  • Experience in working with remote teams and in startups is desirable
