Job description

A US-based company that is building hyper-personalized health, work, and life digital experiences, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will help build, maintain, and support the company’s cloud-based infrastructure and operations. The health-focused enterprise uses the power of blockchain technology to connect businesses and people through enablement and a global network. During their Series A round, the company managed to raise more than $5.5mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Linux system administration for internal and external customers
  • Work closely on Tier III call support to internal and external customers
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the cloud infrastructure
  • Work on automating essential tasks using necessary tools and scripting
  • Draft development documentation and monitor systems
  • Ensure developed software meet updated standards with the latest technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Must possess professional experience of working as a Systems Administrator for 2-4 years 
  • Ability to work with different OSs like Linux, macOS, and Windows
  • Thorough working knowledge of Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Ability to work with system monitoring tools like Nagios and DevOps tools like Jenkins
  • 3+ years of experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
  • 3+ years of experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet
  • Must be able to manage time and assigned work independently
  • Ability to work on customer-interfacing activities (requirements gathering, status updates, scheduling, etc.)
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Previous experience working in the Healthcare industry is highly preferred
