Job description

A US-based company that is relying on advanced technology to capture, map, and transform data to help businesses focus on analysis, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be working tightly with a team and independently on breakout assignments. The company's services make it easier to start streaming data through a drag and drop interface. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work with a company and develop an efficient system for the management and distribution of large data pipelines.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and rollout best DevOps tooling and automation practices
  • Work as part of a diverse set of developers and domain experts to engineer cutting-edge solutions
  • Monitor systems, application health, security controls, and costs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering leaders
  • Develop and enforce efficient processes for ensuring high availability of systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience with Github, CI/CD, and Project Lifecycle management
  • Prolific experience with Google Cloud preferred, other cloud experience may be acceptable
  • Extensive experience with either JavaScript/Typescript or Go(Golang)
  • Knowledge of SQL and database usage
  • Knowledge of serverless cloud environments
  • Experience with Terraform or other automation suites is nice to have
  • Nice to have some experience managing highly available cloud deployments
  • Experience managing data at the terabyte scale is desirable
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments is nice to have
  • Experience with NextJS and/or TypeORM is preferred
