Job description

A US-based company that leverages the power of applied AI and deep learning technology to develop practical speech recognition products is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will work with a multi-functional team to build an iconic deep learning company. The company’s next-gen technology offers a suite of developer tools for businesses to build exciting applications with their audio and video data. Job Responsibilities:

  • Ascertain that the cloud infrastructure meets the major team goals of security, dependability, scalability, performance, and profitability
  • Provide DevOps assistance and expertise for critical initiatives in collaboration with software developers, customer service, go-to-market, and product managers
  • Write detailed documentation around operational processes
  • Assist internal teams as a subject matter expert in ensuring infrastructure deployment, administration, and introspection tools is automated, safe, and suitably abstracted
  • Architect, build, implement, and test new infrastructure for the company’s CI pipelines and production monitoring systems
  • Assist the team in delivering and supporting high-quality software in a timely and reliable manner

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience working in a DevOps role
  • Extensive experience working with Python, Bash, AWS, and AWS Lambda
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is nice to have
  • Experience with source control, Git, or something similar 
  • Experience with AWS at scale, including Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, and EC2, as well as ECS, SQS, and SNS
  • Expertise with containers and container orchestration systems
  • Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management with tools like Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience with cloud monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, or AWS CloudWatch
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, logging, and monitoring
  • Nice to have prior experience with AWS Organizations and multi-account environment best practices
  • Experience with WebSockets or other streaming protocols is desirable
