Job description

A fast-growing company that focuses on reducing operational pain and making it easy to create automated remediations for well-known issues in minutes is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will work on building opp packs that address a certain operational problem. The company is committed to radically increasing system availability and reducing operator toil through incident automation. The candidate will develop out-of-the-box packs that clients can download and deploy in an environment with ease. This will be a long-term and full-time opportunity requiring at least 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the design, and implementation of automated build and release pipelines for solutions
  • Design and monitor continuous feedback on the DevOps processes
  • Maintain, support, and upgrade existing IT systems and applications
  • Address technical constraints and performance issues of the solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant DevOps engineering experience
  • Must have expertise in Kubernetes and scripting in a language like Python or Bash
  • Solid Cloud expertise in AWS as well as a complementing technology
  • Nice to have proficiency in automation projects (no-human-in-the-loop)
  • Ability to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
