Job description

A fast-growing company that has dedicated its platform to help make computer science education fun and accessible is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will work on the infrastructure and DevOps-related projects that can include projects like improving CI, setting up testing or staging environments, and implementing new AWS tools into workflows. The company focuses on delivering a positive social impact and offering support for teachers, students, and schools, with the help of a dedicated team and excellent tutors. This will be a full-time position that requires a time overlap with Central time.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications
  • Design, Develop, Build & Deploy applications to streamline the deployment and operational reliability
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Proficient with AWS, Python, Docker, and GitHub
  • Familiarity with Memcached and SQL
  • Adept at evaluating problems accurately and displaying sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
