DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to execute a consistent process to meet specific requirements
• Support the company’s infrastructure in the areas of development and production to increase productivity
• Design and create scalable infrastructure for a rapidly growing user base
• Engineer and automate devices and cloud environments for security, reliability, and scale based on product requirements
• Administer AWS environments and accounts, develop provisioning and orchestration, manage and maintain AWS network infrastructure (VPCs, load balancers, DNS, proxy servers, etc.)
• Design and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines for cloud, device, and deep learning workflows, and data pipelines
• Actively participate and contribute to the development product release strategy to effectively build, deploy, and maintain software environments for the platform development

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Development role
• 3+ years of experience with the AWS ecosystem like ECS, EKS, S3, EC2, IAM, etc.
• Proficiency with a variety of programming, scripting, and configuration languages, including Python
• Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with HIPAA compliance and/or Aptible is nice to have 
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or other relational database platforms
• Solid understanding of monitoring and observability solutions and modern tools like ElasticSearch, New Relic, and Kibana is desirable
• Nice to have some experience with service configuration management and deployments tools, such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Cloudformation
• Proficient with Linux platforms
• Experience working together across teams to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
